Very welcoming! Old and new interesting wines with some very neat history. It is a working farm, which just adds to the charm.
You know how sometimes the sketchier-looking the Chinese food restaurant, the better the food is? I think the same is true of wineries. Divino is not some big operation that spends more on marketing than they do on wines like some other wineries in the area, it’s a simple affair with a real, old-world winemaker making simply fantastic wines. Our tasting was fantastic, and you can tell the owners have real passion for what they’re doing. And each wine has a story, some of them “accidental”.
Highly recommended, just be sure you take your time and understand this isn’t some polished professional operation, it’s a true winery run by real, passionate folks.
Great wines, great chat with Carla
A real, small, farmgate winery, one of the very first in BC. Congratulations to the Busnardos for staying true to the roots of the industry. Don’t expect a fancy tasting room and chi-chi bistro, just good honest farming and wine making, by the same family who started in 1979 in Oliver. Excellent prices and wonderful wines presented in an unpretentious setting! Refreshing!
Great wine & friendly people!
