Cowichan River Provincial Park

A really cool park. Lots of spots to swim, snorkel, cliff jump and tube. We recommend bringing a snorkel and fins when the water is low. There's also seasonal fishing. Lots of crayfish here, we caught some for lunch and the meat was clean and fresh (there aren't any spots with stagnant water).

Great walking and biking trails. Super clear river with swimming pools, riffles and rapids. Best day hikes if you like to keep within the sound of the river.

My girlfriend broke up with me here back in highschool which cascaded me into an emotional tailspin that deeply affected me in the most profound way for many years to come. The area is more appropriate for hiking and camping. ???? Deer. Mouse. Plant.

Great campground! Really nice sites, very clean, and the park attendants are very friendly and helpful. I love that there is a pump for water, and an area to dispose of your recycle and garbage.

Gorgeous park and camping facilities. Lots to do outdoors. River can be fast flowing so be cautious at all times.
