“We had a great Thanksgiving weekend in our RV at Mermaid Cove! An affordable price for camping so close to the ocean. The kids loved the paddle boat and fishing from the dock. I loved the large sites which included trees and grass! We hope to come back next summer and be able to spend more time at the beach. Cabin 3 has a lovely covered porch with views of the ocean!”

“I have been to this beach many times in the past with kids and school events. It is absolutely beautiful! It started to pour with rain soon after we arrived today, but there is a nice shelter that we took advantage of. My friend and I had a nice lunch and were still able to enjoy ther view. The epitome of east Vancouver island coastline.”

“A nice little park that allows you to walk down to the Oceanside. Here you can see the Askew Creek spill into the ocean. There is a recently well built new path and stairs that gets you down here. Definitely visit on low tide as there is much to see and explore along the shoreline. Heck at an extremely low tide you could even walk all the way to Kin Beach. Do not go at high tide as there is not much to see or do, the water comes right up to the bottom of the stairs.”
