A quiet & hidden spot off Highway 3. It's the staff & comfortable atmosphere that keeps me coming back
Great food, cold beers and very friendly staff. Awesome atmosphere!
Amazing food, fantastic service and really cool atmosphere! Ten out of ten would recommend!! Also great prices! Worth the drive! Such a fun place with wonderful people, can't say enough good things! Also their French fries are out of this world! And the deep-fried fill pickles, best!!!
4 stars for atmosphere and an amazing server/bartender/cook. The bar is a cool little place with taxidermy everywhere (look for the jackolope). Right next to the Bull River (there is a fishing spot between the highway bridge and the rail bridge) and the trout hatchery it's a great place to stop after an outing. Our server was on the ball despite being, for all appearances, the only person there. She was very friendly and personable.
There are tables outside under a huge weeping willow.
The food was OK. I'm affraid I can't say much more than that. The onion rings and fried pickles (it's that kind of menu) were pretty good but the burgers had a definite frozen from a box quality to them and the kiaser rolls were toasted to a crispiness that shredded the tops of our mouths while allowing the fillings to slide off the burger.
If you are in the area give it a shot.
Awesome food and cold beers. Great place to stop by
