Waldo Cove Regional Park

Good family beach with plenty of sand and a swimming area that's separated by logs from the rest of the lake. Good parking and bathrooms at the top, and a picnic area in between the lot and the lake.

Nice but not fancy. Good place to see Koocanusa. Spectacular views but you really need a boat, paddle-board or kayak to enjoy the lake.

Great place for a day of fun. Until you do some research and find out there is an abandoned town under the lake. Then it gets your mind racing on hiw there might be ghosts in the water ready to pull you under to join them in the after life. But still a beautiful place for a good swim

Clean sandy beach with picnic tables above in shady treed area. No dogs allowed on the beach but we had our pup by the picnic tables. Good accessable out houses.

I honestly cant put into words the nostalgic feeling I got from returning here, my family members each rented a property on the hill of what used to be "Castle Rock Campground", but has now been developed into "South Country" and we have returned here non routinely on and off for the past 20 years, I am now 28 years old and this place will always be a part of who i am.
