Beautifully decorated restaurant with fantastic food and great service. I had the Enchilada platter and the chips & dips as appetizer, all was very delicious. It's rather on the pricey side though.
So happy to have found this lovely little place in my neighborhood.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere is authentic and brings back memories of Mexico. Owner is great.
I don't have food photos because I hoovered it up so fast.
Very interesting location, across the road from the Hoodoos.
Greatly presented dishes, good flavors. The churros were crispy. The nachos were good but het a little cheese logged if you don't eat them quick. The enchilada verde was great.
Went to Su Casa last night. Food was really good! We're pretty picky with Mexican food since my husband is Mexican and I lived there for many years. The rice especially was good, reminded me of my suegra's rice and she's a great cook. As far as food, service and atmosphere go I would rate it a 5. Why I'm rating it a 4 overall is for 2 reasons. One a few of the dishes were quite spicy which was fine for myself and my husband but our kids had a hard time eating it. Usually I find Mexican restaurants here don't make their food very spicy but have salsa you can add on the side if you want it spicier or they warn you that it's spicy. So that was a little disappointing. The other is the price. Usually for our family to eat out at a restaurant is around $150. This time it was around $250 which is a lot more. I get we're in a tourist area but still seems a bit excessive.
We loved the family run restaurant Su Casa! The service was great! The family running the place is so friendly. Authentic, delicious food with beautiful plates. The decor is from Mexico, making the place so colourful. The menu has so many items to choose from. We ordered corn chips with salsa and one with a cheesy been dip. The chips were salty and crunchy and the salsa and dip was mere tasty. We orders the vegetarian tostadas and the empañada platter. The flavours were perfect! You’re not going to get more authentic unless you’re in Mexico. They have jarritos drinks too! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options.
