Barkside Pets

My little man is my world and he came to us with a very specific kong teddy bear. He LOVES his baby. He once lost it and was sad and longed for it. We have been looking for a backup for years to no avail. I check any new shop I go into and am usually met with a sorry we don’t have it or know of one. Well the fates aligned when I was visiting Fernie and wandered into Barkside pets. I told them what I was looking for and that I didn’t expect to find it. She knew EXACTLY what I was talking about, they didn’t have it in the store but could get it in and ship it to me/let me know when it was in. And they did just that!!! I had a friend come grab it and we now have a very happy pupper. The customer service is amazing. They know their stuff and know how to treat their customers. I cannot say enough praises because they made one dog so very happy.

This is an incredible store because they have high end products but the best part is the customer service. The staff is unreal. They are very helpful and just the best.

Absolutely love this store! The best raw food selection I have ever seen in any place. We are visiting the area and needed 5 days worth of raw food for my German Shepherd. They were super helpful and friendly on getting me what I needed for our trip. Highly recommend this gem!

We've been using barkside since we got out new puppy, which has grown into 2 puppies. The staff has always been extremely helpful, happy, and knowledgeable. We've spent way too much money on so called "indestructible" dog toys, the ladies at Barkside recently helped us pick 4 new toys that have yet to be destroyed. Each time we go in they asked for a progress report on the toys, which in itself is amazing that they have the passion to remember not only their customers, but their purchases as well. Our most recent purchase was hands down the best experience yet. Our son wanted to use his own money to purchase some toys for rescue kittens, he was a few cents short due to tax. The wonderful lady working the till told him not to worry about it because of his kind gesture. He has talked about that non stop how nice Barkside is. Way to go above and beyond on every visit to the store!
