“Beautiful one bedroom condo (choice to add a 2nd room). Stayed in room 616L of the Juniper building. Everything we needed including washing machine and dryer. We were there for work and in the shoulder season so ultra quiet. Lower level unit so patio leads out to the back patio literally in front of the hot tub.”

“We had air bnb so no services. Hot tub is warm. Wish the fenching was lower as the view is fantastic on one side of hot tub. Everything was very clean. Lockers are good for 4 boarders with room to spare and a perfect distance to elk chair which has mostly green runs with a couple blue and to a tbar for the bunny area.”

“Our family finished with Andreas, and two of his guides, Parker and Tanner over a few days and Fernie BC on the Elk River. Regardless of the fact that fishing was AMAZING, the guides were absolutely first class. My perspective is having fished all over the world with dozens of guides and the guiding experience was top class. They were all very patient with my family on the river and everyone came away better fly-fishers (it was the first float for the rest of my family, wife and 12 & 16 yr old boys). A fun and lighthearted coaching style is critical to a good experience and then there is putting you on the fish…. And oh my, did that happen. The best dry fly days (literally all day) I’ve ever had and sprinkle in some streamers in Bull trout pools and you have a recipe for amazing days in the boat! Lastly, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the comment about a “gourmet” meal until he pulled out a stove and cooked up the chicken and French press coffee! We’ll be planning Patagonia next!”

“Visited Fernie for the first time and stayed here because I booked later than I should have. The rooms are not fancy, but are very comfortable, at least mine was. I was a single traveler and stayed on one of the studio suites. The room was quite cozy, and most importantly, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water -- both of these are necessary when skiing at Fernie. Ski In/Ski out access was fine. Ski lockers are basic, but they do the job. The Ski shop in the basement has lots of good choices to demo on various days. Hot tubs are also very good, and again. Required. If you want an easy meal without going into town, the Rusty Edge and restaurant/bar at the Lizard Creek are both a short walk down the beginner slopes. If I ever get back to Fernie, I'd have no problem staying here again. Also, I got to meet several Snow Creek regulars after skiing in the main lodge room, something you see much these days.”

“We had an awesome day on the river with this group. Blair is nice and entertaining as hell and the chief bus driver. There were 3 rafts in our group and all the guides were super nice. Bradley, Sinead and Gregor. They offered up a wholesome lunch including some much needed broth! Lots of safety was instructed and given but lots of fun was had at the appropriate times also. Bradley was guiding our boat and he’s not only excellent at what he’s doing he’s fun and created fun. He’s also challenging Blair at who has the bad dad jokes. We had a great time and we’ll be back for more”
