“Purnima is highly professional, compassionate and amiable. Her commitment to helping people is uplifting! All the grandeur of Radium would have been less for me, if I had not been in her laughter yoga session. R.R. Toronto”

“Unlike Yeet Boy 36, I find this school invigorating. For starters, the teachers are super strict, and still use the old fashioned cane method on students who have a nasty cold (for infection reasons). The school removed the vending machines, and put in their place posters of the vending machines, so now all the kids just cry for the lost candy, and idolize the poster. Also, the school has a new "no fun" law, and so they removed all traces of fun on the school, including the playground equipment, and all toys. They search students each morning to make sure they aren't bringing any "contraband fun" into the premises. I love this place, and I would recommend it anytime!”

“We have so much fun with the Nauti crew! Going tubing, surfing, wake-boarding, and slalom skiing - all the water sports!!! The drivers are top-notch, prioritize safety AND make it super fun for the kids! We always appreciate their coaching and tips to learn new tricks every time! I used to rent a boat, but after getting the Nauti experience, as a parent - it's so worth it! We just show up! I don't need to think about gear, driving safely, or handling the rope. I get to just relax and enjoy my time on the boat! They make it so enjoyable! Thanks Nauti crew for being the FUNNEST part of our summer! (IT'S SO WORTH IT!!!)”

“What is exciting about KIS is that it provides opportunities and choice for families and their children. Ultimately, it is amazing that a community the size of Kimberley has educational options for students. When options are provided then more students needs are met. KIS, with small class sizes, is able to meet the needs of a great range of learning styles and this is a gift for all the children that attend. Students have exposure to many great learning experiences including an outdoor eduction program, multiple field trips, community involvement, and Flex-Fridays (where children have choice in the learning they would like to do). The staff are top notch and the principal is very committed to the school, it's staff and families.”

“Absolutely amazing program! I have no idea why more people are not aware of, and utilizing Dynaread! I have two children (11 and 9) who both use the program. They went from being timid readers with ZERO comprehension to confident readers who actually enjoy reading. After years of intervention services through the school system we saw minimal results until I happened to run across the Dynaread program. It has truly been a miracle for my children! I highly, highly recommend for anyone with struggling readers, particularly those who are dyslexic.”

“I can honestly say that choosing to send my three kids to this school has been one of the best decisions of my life. I initially sent them to St. Mary’s because it’s the #1 academic school in Cranbrook. And it doesn’t disappoint in that regard. My kids began learning French, music, Outdoor Education and computers in Kindergarten. I wanted my kids to learn from an early age the importance of education, and of the satisfaction of working hard to learn something. Unlike so many schools in the public system, St. Mary’s takes academia seriously. I also appreciate that it teaches good, moral values. Whether you are raising your child(ren) in a religious home or not, I think everyone can agree that teachings kids the basic Golden Rule of “doing unto other as you would have done to you” provides a wonderful foundation and moral standard. And that’s really what sets St. Mary’s apart from any other school in Cranbrook - it feels different. Warmer, kinder and close-knit. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how loving and patient the teachers are. Plus, my kids love the outdoor education program. From shelter building to snow-shoeing, our kids get to do it all. I know a lot of parents think “it’s just elementary school - what’s the big deal?” But these early academic years are critical and set our children up for the future. And so I really wanted to provide my kids with an loving environment that would challenge them academically while nurturing them emotionally. And I am so pleased that that is exactly the experience we’ve had.”

“I feel so fortunate to have gotten a spot at the Cranbrook Montessori. Susan is a wonderful person who genuinely cares about shaping children into capable, kind little people. Everyday she gets down to their level, greets them and takes the time to say goodbye. Our son comes home happy and with something new he has learned every week. I cannot rave this program enough!”
