“Amazing. We stayed in this charming little cabin on a Friday night in June because that’s when our schedule allowed. I was a bit nervous because I know Cultus Lake can get loud on Fridays, and I really wanted to just be able to relax. And relax I did. It’s such a peaceful, secluded spot, it’s hard to imagine it’s only 2 minutes from Main Beach. It was actually QUIET through the night. The cabin is nestled between a field of horses and an old-growth forest with trails. You’re right there with nature, but with all the amenities. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the cabin itself is clean and well-designed in terms of space usage. We loved the attic bedrooms and their picturesque views, and the kids were excited at finding fairy tale surprises in the nearby trees! This place is a real jewel.”

“Tried out this spot after seeing great reviews and it did not disappoint! The owner Paul was such a nice guy and chatted with us while we sipped on our delicious chai. You can tell it's made fresh, with the aroma and flavour of the spices coming through! We also had the fish and chips, chicken, and poutine - all were delicious! The chicken and fish were so juicy and crispy but not greasy at all. Make sure you get the homemade tartar sauce, it's a must for sure. We loved how nice and clean the whole place was, and the service was amazing. Such a great local gem, definitely stop by for some great food!”

“Kids had fun. They charge for adults even though there is not much to do. Way too expensive that way. They go by height admission so if you have a really tall young child you have to pay even though they can't do much. Staff was great though.”

“Just had two deliveries to our cottage, river rock and dirt we are in a gated community that is very tight to get in. Our driver jamie was incredible he backed in to the spot effortlessly without hitting the lawn, even know he had zero room to do so. He was very friendly, thoughtful and conscientious. I have gotten many of loads of gravel and dirt in the past from different companies and have never received service as good as this i highly recommend using this company I will be using them from now on exclusively.”

“A Fantastic warm loving community. I personally had a wonderful experience with both Gate keepers and a couple residents, but a big shout out to April Moore. With being a resident of Cultus Lake I would often hear stories of the area and when things would go missing, the finger would get pointed towards the Soowahlie Band. Sad since it’s so far from the truth. Their land just happens to be a short cut for these ‘street collectors’ to get between Cultus and Chillwack. With homelessness on the rise, camps are everywhere and a large one near Soowahlie lands. Having spent the day with a few residents, I felt the unity, strength and frustration it takes to keep their families safe and support they made available to me invaluable. When in Cultus make it a point to stop and say hi, but most importantly respect their lands especially during Covid. With those gate keepers, I can tell you they’re safe, just wish we had some gate keepers here too! Thanks again April Moore, keep up the good fight.”

“Lorna made training my dog Bandit fun with all the games. I like that she uses positive reinforcement. She was able to help me with his recall by explaining what I needed to work on with him. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. She was able to modify/ make up a class if an emergency came up or if I wasn’t able to make it. She would look for other solutions if what game or technique wasn’t working or helping. She makes learning fun and enjoyable. We were able to do classes outside which was fantastic. The dogs and humans had a great time in class ! If you put the time in with your dog you do see the results. Consistency is important. Cheers :)”

“Took our 6 and 3 year old here. They shared a cheeseburger and the guys here are lovely and cut it in half. Chicken strips are gluten free and I think the best I’ve had - perfectly crisp and moist. My partner loved his burger - the sauce and texture of the bun were awesome he said. Would’ve loved to try a lettuce bun (no additional cost) but they were sold out.”

“This nail salon is very friendly and very clean. Mother and daughter are very nice. It’s great for a group as they have 3 spots for pedicures or manicures. Only negative is you don’t get spa etiquette, but again very friendly. I’ve gone here several times with a group and will continue too. Large variety of colours and offers gel polish so it lasts longer. Reasonable priced and no unhealthy smell. Great place to try. Book with Edna.”
