“I would give it a five but then I might find something better. I never thought to review a lake, but another guide 'wondered' if there was in fish in the water. If you wish to fish there are fish in the water here. I think a few people have packed up their aquariums as it is full of goldfish. There are also large-mouth bass and rainbow trout. The bass are quite active during their normal times. The lake reaches a depth of 16m on the south-east portion, 8m on the south-west and north-east. Pretty swampy on the north-west and around the island. There are camping spots on the west side of the lake, but as far as I know there are no campfires in the Abbotsford district at any time of year. I like the view, the hike is not too bad for my physical condition and you don't need a boat to fish.”

“A beautiful escape in the mountains great for hiking and mountain biking. There’s a road that goes all the way to the top where you can hike to a lake, and a wonderful lookout point.”

“Beautiful trail, delicious berries, watch out for bears and abit of dirt road right at the end before the trail starts so drive nice and slow. Also this place has the deadliest mosquitoes on the western Rockies!!! hehe well maybe not that bad but bring lots of bug spray. The view is covered partly by trees and the lakes water is stale however it is a nice hike and enjoyable trail.”
