Buntzen Lake Dog Park

I like this place better in the quieter winter months. It offers a secure place for dogs to roam around and interact and go for a swim, if your pooches are so inclined.

I find it's a little too busy in summer and the garbage cans stink of dog poo, would rather stick to my local trails along the rivers during the hotter busier seasons.

But all in all it's a beautiful place and it's a nice drive in and walk to the Waterfront.

Great park! Don't come on a long weekend, otherwise you'll never get in the parking lot. Plus it gets so crowded in the summer long weekends.

Wonderful place to swim and let dogs play. Only complaint is that they close the parking lot even though there are many spots left, so you have to find parking on residential streets and walk in with all your stuff until they re open gates later in the day.

Great dog park for your dogs to socialize! Filled with friendly dogs, bringing your dog to run at the beach is a great idea! After the park, you can always go hiking around the lake (leash your dog) for some great exercise for both you and your dog.

My dog absolutely loves it here! Fenced area for them to swim and a nice beach to dig and play. Running water to wash them off and drink plus fenced pens near washroom to park your dog while you use the facilities. Nice hiking as well. Highly recommended place for doggies... :-)
