“We always buy our breads from Cobs. Their high fiber white is really good, so about quarter of the time we fail to get them as they are not yet ready (in the morning) or sold out by evening. It would be great if these were available earlier. What really makes us come back to this Marine way location is the kindness of one particular worker, Flora. She always greets us with genuine smile and kindness. Hope younger employees learn that this somewhat seemingly simple kindness is what brings smile to people and make them come back.”

“This is one of my favorite bakeshops in Burnaby. The pastries and bread are scrumptious especially the Portuguese egg tart and the pineapple bun. The only drawback for me are the prices of each items. They cost more than what I'm used to paying in Asia. But still, they are worth every dime if craving for Asian bread and pastries. This bakeshop is one of my stops when in Burnaby.”

“It is understandable why this place is extremely busy. This is always full of shoppers due to its wide ranging variety of products. The cashier lines are long and exhausting wait. I think the cashiers are not scanning fast enough not like the Costco cashiers who have the speed and the efficiency. My overall experience in this store is just okay but I give it 5 stars due to its convenience and free, safe parking.”

“Nuts. Nuts. Nuts. When you first walk in, it's nuts. The nice smells if roasted nuts. Cashews, almonds, walnuts, peanuts, pecans, pistachio, kernels, pumpkin seeds and many more dried fruit. Prices range from $9 for a half a pound. The customer service for that Saturday was a young woman named Tuesday. Very helpful and excited to help anyone who came into the store. Ayoub should feel very fortunate to having staff who loves what they do. Fresh product, great service and free parking, am coming back here!”

“Don’t even bother going to the Vancouver store, it’s always jam packed and they have very poor selection. Go out of your way and head to this location. It is never busy, has a great selection of pies all the time, and has an amazing butcher next door!”

“I've only tried their organic bagels to date. They are tasty and I really appreciate that they are made with organic ingredients. ???? That's all good. What I don't like about them is the size. Much too small, especially compared to the many other bagels I've eaten over the years, including those from traditional kosher bakeries in Toronto. When using a bagel for sandwiches, these are just not practical. Fillings tend to fall out. On their own with just a spread, they are fine, but I like to be able to use bagels in both ways. I also would have appreciated a reply to an email I sent to this company. It was mainly complimentary, and with a couple of suggestions. They never replied. Definitely need to work on that. ????Customer service and follow up is just as important as a good product.”

“Omg love this place. Recently they have updated their cafe to a more modern and trendy place to be...as well as changing the bagel menu, which is a bummer... but it's still nice and worth trying out! Before the change, I ate their bagels all through my first trimester of pregnancy, it's all I could eat. Bring back the CLASSIC BREAKFAST BAGEL!”

“Spectacular family owned and operated bakery and deli. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack, and without a doubt, these folks are a very essential part of the community. The products are top notch, the service is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, the store is immaculate...seriously...this bakery/deli tops all that I've ever seen. No others even come close to measuring up. Gold star!!!”

“Amazing! So tasty! And so many samples, little pricey but way worth it! Recommend the cranberry truffles. Oh my god chocolatey greatness. And the bread tastes like bread!”

“This place was pretty good. I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken , my friend had the BBQ pork rice with egg. The garlic rice was really nice. For new comers beware that there is no seating this place is take out only. Also the store is in a very small space so i would recommend that you order ahead of time.”
