“The exterior is fairly dilapidated. There's a lot of construction going on around the hotel, so there's going to be a number of new buildings around the hotel soon. The beds were comfortable and the tap water is drinkable with no bad taste. It has easy access to the Lions' Gate Bridge which leads directly to Stanley Park.”

“Great place to stay. I was expecting the rooms to be a little rough around the edges, but my room was amazing, super clean and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The staff, especially Viviana and Turki were unbelievable as we has a big group and some special circumstances. They were both amazing to deal with and all of our special requests were dealt with with zero complaints.. even though I know it was a big hassle for them. I was also pleasantly surprised that they offered a free breakfast -with lots of choices. I will definitely be back.”

“The staff here was fantastic. There were a few quirks such as attempting to order a movie from the cable provider. They actually don't have that service for their customers but when ordering the system told me that I was good to go. It was a bit disappointing to not get to see the movie I bought an hour in advance. The breakfast was always fresh and hot, and the coffee was amazing. The view outside of the hotel was spectacular and there was a corner market across the street that made the greatest panini's!”

“I was hesitant to leave a review because this is one of those places you want to keep secret... but that would be a disservice to the owner. Great cottage-style setting with full kitchen, bathroom, etc. We rented the downstairs one-bedroom which was plenty of room for me, my wife, and our 6 year old who was thrilled to sleep on the pull-out couch. Just a short walk to the water at Panorama Park as well as lots of shopping and great food. The owner is a long-time resident who's happy to help you plan your day and may even take you out for a quick crabbing excursion. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again the next time we make it out to Vancouver.”

“It's honestly a great mix of rustic and comfortable cabin living. Comfortable in that the upstairs common room is large and very adaptable, and the design of the room really let me feel like I could relax. Rustic in that there are no showers and the washrooms are classic out houses with insects crawling around the lights. None of that bothers me and since I was only there for a weekend retreat I had a great time being surrounded by forest and good friends.”

“I have a camp in the area and i have traveled to this very spot where the photo was taken, this photo was actually at rabbit chute but i still love to see this view it is the only reason i travel down the atv path just to get 10 mins to see this view where the world seams as if it stops around you. Getting to see all the stars at night and to hear the sound of nature is a memory u will never forget”

“This is the second time that we chose to stay at this hotel. It's a great area and downtown Vancouver is easily accessible by the Seabus. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The bedding is great and very comfortable. We enjoyed having access to the pool and hot tub. The Lobby restaurant had great food and breakfast was not expensive and definitely all of the food was worth the price. Overall it was another great stay. The hotel staff is nice and friendly and even held a parcel for me until my arrival. They made sure that everything ran seamlessly. We will most likely stay here again when we decide to visit Vancouver.”
