A great way to access the shoreline of Boundary Bay in Surrey, BC. Not 1001 steps actually, but on the way back up it feels like it. Beautiful views, and worth the effort!

Only 235 steps if you only count the vertical steps. But great work out and short trail with beautiful view of the ocean!

Is it really 1001 steps? Anyway nice place to workout.

Not a bad walk for a sunny day! Nice views and good exercise.

    The stairs: 5 stars
    The parking: 2 stars
This is part of a beach access route that takes you underneath the train tracks to the rip-rap shoreline. It's not the best part of Crescent beach, but it's nice and private sometimes. North of here is another beach access with stairs, that has a steel bridge over the train tracks, and it's closer to the sandy part of the beach.

Redwood Park | City of Surrey

The unique forest found at Redwood Park is a legacy of Peter and David Brown, twin brothers born to one of Surrey's earliest pioneering families. In 1893, their father gifted them this large plot of land, logged and ripe for farming.
