Good club fitters are hard to find in Greater Vancouver. I've been through a few and even travelled to east WA State to get club fitted. Here, they care more about the satisfaction of the golfer than selling you the most expensive clubs. I just had an iron fitting done at the range by Bill with FlightScope launch monitor. He was able to find a shaft that give me the tightest dispersion very quickly. It's way better than my own set which help me shoot 80 last season. I could see it with my own eye. The club builder, Dave, has been building clubs for more than 20 years. It's worth while to pay them a visit. You can learn a lot just from talking to them. Highly recommended!
Great product selection for the serious and recreational golfer. They carry a lot of good brands you won't get from a chain store, plus you have the range on site where they let you test them out so you can get a real perspective on ball flight. Store staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. Great to see their passion for the game especially when they are helping customers pick the right product for their game. Their pro shop is really nice and they do good work there when customizing your clubs. I trust my clubs with them rather than other shops. I'll be back!
Full disclosure, I play golf with Bill. I shop here not only because I trust Bill's input but also the store is outfitted with all things necessary for me to get the best golf experience and at the right price. I live 40+ mins away but will travel here because it's a different experience. For instance, I just finished my first fitting for a driver and shaft.
What was different was being able to see my shots fly out into the range. Plus by scheduling a fitting, we put shots onto their high tech scope. Dialing in my numbers was easy but again seeing shots fly out and feeling the wind in my face put me virtually on the course. You can't do that at most places. And for some reason, I can't hit anything good in a dark indoor closed off shot simulator. Major slices, pop flies, and shanks would happen in dark indoor simulators. I don't get the wild shots here at Titan. I think my mind prefers visualizing a shot into something real, rather than a computerized image on a screen.. So for me, this place is as close to real course situations, giving me better confidence in the club's I am demoing or tweaking. One downside is the shortage of apparel, perhaps that may change in future as I understand Titan has only been open for 3 months.
Came to this mysterious shop through a friend’s referral, and I fell in love with titan golf immediately after I met the product specialist, bill.
Bill is very knowledgeable, patient and professional! He answered all the questions that I have as a rookie golfer and did couple swing test with me to identify what ms the best club for me!
I am convinced that bill is one of the best in the industry, and I am happy that I drove 60 minutes from Vancouver to surrey just to find the perfect advice for my need !
Have already placed two orders on the equipment and waiting them to be shipped to the store! Thanks bill
