Would be nice if the washrooms are open on Sunday. It's a beautiful day but didn't stay long and didn't go to the other side because the washrooms are close. Nice place to walk around.
Not a bad park. Grass is usually nicely cut. But depending on the wind you walk along the border line up and breathe in the exhaust. I recommend walking along the west side of the line up due to ocean breeze.
Beautiful well-maintained park right on the border. Great for unique photo opportunities, like one foot in each country. It's a lifesaver if you're stuck in a long border line and you want to kick the kids out of the car for a few minutes of peace and quiet.
Border crossing can be long, but I think they are doing a very good job managing the flow.
We crossed yesterday afternoon with a 55 minute expected wait time. Instead of inching forward for an hour, we were able to turn off the car in between moves. This is because they have a traffic light to let in a group of vehicles at a time. Brilliant!
I also think the drug-sniffing dog made a difference, because he "pre-screened" vehicles for contraband. That way, the custom official could focus on checking documents. Also brilliant!
This is one of those places you need to visit. There is an energy here that is hard to find; positive vibes. It's one of those places where people are excited to visit and it just gets better when you arrive! Young, old, special event or site seeing; it's all good and you won't be let down. Do it!
