Great place for a good walk nice scenery....and quiet and peaceful.
Nice place for a quick walk. About 1.5 Km around. There are usually birds such as mallard ducks and herons in the small lake. We once saw a deer there.
This is a man-made lake, but the ducks don’t mind. Easy trail with an uphill section, although you can’t walk around the lake. Some benches at the lakeside. It’s not especially peaceful as traffic noise is constant but it’s nice enough.
Went out and explored Surrey Lake Park today... ran into a few nice people out walking dogs and really enjoyed it. There were a couple of big trees that were still down from the big windstorm and one is blocking the trail a fair bit. Lots of bird life in the lake and it’s a really nice wooded trail to wander on. Tons of parking and easy to access off 152nd. Definitely worth checking out for an urban escape that’s close to home.
Nice place to take the dog out for a walk. The tail along the lake and thru the woods is nice. You might get lucky and see the eagle that nests in the area.
