A tranquil walk in the woods near the hustle and bustle of the city. There are multiple paths, loops, and spots to walk alone or with pets. The off leash dog park is large and provides a fantastic place for socialization and fun. Bring lunch and enjoy a picnic or stop at one of the bridges to watch the salmon and trout. Parking is pretty good on most days too.
My dogs love the paved pathways here. It's easier on their little paws. The loop is ~4.8km and it's a nice walk with nature all around.
Went for a run and this has slowly become my favorite place. Great views, very peaceful and not extremely busy. Make sure you take your personal belongings out of your car or lock them up.
This part number isn't far from the city. Trail is quite easy. Nice and pieceful place. By the way, it's also a pollution monitoring area. So, please keep the park clean.
This park is one of my favourites. There are different trails to walk through the park. There is also a creek where they do fish releases from the hatchery. Such a cool experience for people of all ages. There is also a group campsite which I would highly recommend. Lots of beauty to be found in this park.
