  Cute and charming motel but missing some finishing touches. My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend. The room was larger than expected but missing some finishing touches. Service was average to better than average. The room service food was pretty good, and my wife thinks their Eggs Benedict was the best she's ever had.
  
  Would stay again as it's located next to Stanley park and within easy walking distance to downtown.

  The rooms are surprisingly spacious and quite for a century old hotel. The location is great, close to many fabulous places to eat, the sea wall, and Stanley Park. Friendly staff and good value. The room was clean. My only negative is that the bathroom is in need of an update.

  The beautiful and iconic Sylvia Hotel. I've been lucky enough to stay on one of the upper bay-side suites in the Sylvia on a number of occasions and my wife and I had another fantastic time there over Valentine's Day, 2019. What an awesome hotel! Combined with our fantastic room, the breakfasts served downstairs are perfect. Although I would prefer not to have the competition upon booking my next visit, I highly recommend this historic and nicely renovated hotel; close to walks on the beach, Stanley Park and many excellent restaurants and shops. This place is awesome!

  You can’t stay at this hotel and not feel its charming and unique atmosphere. It’s old — but that’s what makes it great. (It’s remodeled on the inside.) The building is beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the food is delicious. Plus, you can’t beat that view! Great place to stay during the spring and summer. Can’t recommend it enough. ????

  A piece of history for Vancouver. Old but classic. The staff were amazing. Would have preferred a corner room for better views but still had a lovely time. Good food too in the restaurant! Tks will be coming back.
