Horn Ok Please

First of all, this has to be the weirdest name for a restaurant I’ve ever heard of. I’m not too sure what it means.

I stopped by there the other day to pick up some naan for some food I had at home.
I ordered two pieces to go.

Not impressed. I’m almost 100% sure it was just packaged naan that they heated up and buttered slightly.
It always makes me laugh when you go to an ethnic food restaurant, and they serve you packaged stuff that you could buy at Safeway and think that it’s OK.

Silly me. I was thinking I would actually get some really nice naan.

Oh well.

Won’t be going back there.

They don't always have the items they advertise e.g. chai tea. Looks run down even though it has only been open for a year. Prices are very reasonable.

Tasty food at a great price! Will be visiting Horn Ok Please many more times during the summer.. so close to English Bay for sunset eats!

Great food for a decent price! The staff are always nice and very accommodating as well. I bring my own containers for take away and they are happy to use them!

Great little place. Clean, simple, and fast. I've only tried the Butter Chicken Curry so far, but it is so good. This staff is nice and friendly.
