“I had the lamb wrap and it was pretty good. The meat was decent, and freshly cut when I ordered, but definitely not the most flavourful I’ve had. They use your typical pita, and the veggies are fresh. They have some baklava on site, but I didn’t look super fresh so I didn’t try it. Service was friendly and quick. I may visit again, but still prefer a place further down Robson.”

“An absolutely great store - clean, neat, bright, spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by plethora of authentically Russian good quality food choices. Not to mention a fantastic customer service. The shopkeeper Elena is such a warm and welcoming person. She radiates niceness and is always ready to help you. Worth noticing that the prices are very reasonable. “Hi everyone, I took a chance at Nicole Hair Salon after knowing Nicole for a few months, just by talking with her by a chance encounter at the mall her salon locates at. This pic shows the haircut she cut for me, and by the way this is a pic of me when I woke up first thing in the morning, so not quite proper by the traditional standard. I am super happy about the haircut!! I'd say it's the best haircut ever! Can't emphasize enough also that it's a collaborative effort in any dealings and interactions in life or business! Having someone cut my hair for me is quite intimate for sure, and I was happy that Nicole was able to help me feel comfortable enough to receive a haircut from her, and I was able to also help Nicole feel comfortable enough to do an excellent job at giving me a haircut ! :) Thanks Nicole for helping me look and feel beautiful and confident! :)”

“Guy with Garlic was the most authentic Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Vancouver till this point. Loud greetings when you enter/leave with seating and atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in a bar in the streets of Tokyo! Service was absolutely amazing and the food... the most incredible experience ever! Wide variety of dishes that I have never tried before with also some original Japanese dishes that are 10 times better than what you’d find at a street market! Highly recommend and I will definitely bring my friends here when I’m in town! Highly recommend ordering off the tapas menu!”

“My favorite item is the Calpico with vanilla ice cream, and that’s the main reason I come to this place. The place is pretty small so you have to get there with time because you will wait for a while to get a table, they don’t do reservations. I think the combos are excellent options and for 1 more dollar you can get the big portion. That’s perfect for me since I never finish and I save it for dinner. The ramen is fresh and tasty.”

“My go-to local store during the pandemic. Staff are super great and hand out free masks. They are constantly wiping down surfaces. And the fresh food selection is great. Saw a few dudes skip the line and mask and walk straight in. Then an elderly man ignoring all signage, without a mask, openly picking his nose. Can’t imagine what it’s like to work there with members of the public who are not considerate of others. But they do it, and with a smile. We appreciate you! ?”

“I have only been here close to midnight! Usually empty and with light music! Friendly staff but slow service! Bubble teas are good (only tried taro and Oreo). The waffles look amazing but they are too hard to easily eat! I had to wait for the ice cream to melt on it. I like soft waffles better!”

“3.75 stars actually. The beef stew is excellent I would give that probably 8 out of 10, similar to Chinese beef brisket but more savory. Nice quality noodles (7/10 good mouth feel and perfect el dente) and they're simple (6.5) soup goes really well with the beef and the noodle dynamic. Definitely better than your average bowl of noodles and worth trying but I definitely get an extra order of the braised beef cuz it's so delicious. They make their broth with OXTAIL, told them to add more cause I couldn't taste it.”

“I went here on June 22nd with my friend A. I wanted something fresh and filling and thought why not having Poke for lunch. I ordered Hanauma regular ($12.95) and my pal ordered Diamond Head regular ($12.95) it was pretty good. A found Diamond Head bit salty because of spicy salmon and spicy seaweed salad, but Hanauma was pretty good. It had lots of toppings in variety. Veggies and fish toppings were fresh. Food was so filling. Great food for the price. It was definitely reasonable and the portion was hearty. Brown rice tasted pretty good too.”

“My boyfriend and I got take out from here today and it was the best Thai we’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and the food was ready really quickly. Everything was very well presented despite being takeout. We got the Tom yum soup, green curry, spring rolls, some pad noodles and cashew chicken...all of them very tasty and fresh. Definitely our new go-to place for Thai!!!”

“I get the Medical Facial and Back Zone Care here it’s made such a huge improvement for my acne prone skin. I’ve tried quite a few mid range and then more expensive acne facials around Vancouver but have finally found the right one for me. It’s also the only facial I’ve ever gotten that my skin looks immediately better afterwards, it doesn’t have to get worse before it gets better when I go here. Also amazing customer service. I was accidentally overpaying for a package combo I ordered and once I realized and brought it to their attention they backtracked and sorted out all the details and credited my account for the next appointment. It’s so nice to not have to do that work yourself or the onus isn’t on you to prove it or figure it out. I’ve been back in Phase 2 of Restarting since COVID and I was comfortable with their measures in place and sanitation. It’s always a pristine beautiful place to go for my skin and relaxation.”

“Would recommend five sails for their excellent customer service, attentiveness, and gorgeous coastal views. The restaurant has undergone a change in management and it sounds like the new chef is in the works of creating new menu items, something that hopefully elevates the dining experience further for such a beautiful location. The dessert here also truly stands out on its own and is very well done; the taste is exquisite and a wonderful amalgamation of ingredients.”
