VIETMEX CUISINE

After a great spikeball session, I was famished on my cycle back home. I rode past this place and the aroma cause me to slam on my brakes and do a 180 degree turn. Thankfully nobody was behind me. I quickly googled 'Vietmex' and the review results gave me peace in walking into this unassuming small restaurant. The food here is great value. I ordered a house special pho and bahn mi combo and it did not disappoint. The total came to $13. The prices here are very reasonable. I've eaten at many pho establishments throughout Vancouver BC and I must say the broth here is better than all the other places I've tried. If this is a 5 star out of 5 all the others were at best 3.5 stars. I complimented the owner of the restaurant on how tasty the soup was. She replied, "Do you know why my broth is different than others? It's because I don't use MSG. Do you see the sign on the window? I'm allergic to MSG and have been making pho without MSG for over 20 years." I gave a big smile and a big thumbs up. I will definitely be coming back here soon!

Best Pho I’ve had in a long time. Deedee was wonderful, welcoming and quick. The broth was full of flavour and aroma. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Very inexpensive. I would send anyone I know here, don’t let this little hole in the wall go unseen! Great job and thank you, Vietmex Cuisine.

Really delicious noodle soup, great for vegans and vegetarians. Great service.

Their Banh Mi's are awesome! If you like Mexican food and Vietnamese food this place is for you. Reasonable prices too.

If you're after a great Vietnamese Sub, this is it. One of the best in Vancouver hands down.

Staff are super nice as well.
