“I've had major and minor repairs done with Grandview Tire & Auto and been very satisfied every time. Their rates are competitive, especially compared to getting work done at over-priced dealerships. I have a 2003 Subaru and they are knowledgeable about the make and model. They bent over backwards to get in some parts which had worn-out on my car. They are good about calling with progress or if further issues arise when doing the service. Also, they are a quick walk to the Expo and Millennium Skytrain lines which makes picking up your car before or after work easy.”

“Went in 15 minutes before closing to grab some pastries and they were incredibly kind and patient with us hemming and hawing for ages. Everything still tasted super fresh and delicious for end of the day. My double baked chocolate hazelnut croissant was super filling and had lovely crispiness, my friends loved the banana nutella bread pudding. Prices are very reasonable for the size and quality of their pastries! I was surprised with 20% off too, after they heard it was my birthday. So highly recommend, and definitely going back again.”

Laurel got back to me within less than an hour of me submitting the inquiry and was very helpful and patient in dealing with all my questions. Ben personally came to look at what needed to be done before giving me a quote which was very much appreciated. When John and Julian came to complete the work they were very professional, efficient and friendly. They were able to deal with the quirks of our setup without any trouble and the quality of the work is great. I will be calling Drips & Drains again next time I need plumbing work done.”

“Prices are better than many places. Great for beginners that’s buying new gears. I’ve bought a lot of gears over there and had decent experience. The only caveat going to the place is the old man. He definitely has an ego. I quote “I’ve been fixing motorcycles for 60 years.” All I was asking was if they carried a wheel alignment tool. Instead I got a lecture on “How I Should Have Done It and Any Other Way Is Wrong.” I don’t doubt his skills and knowledge, but this man is old school strict grandpa kind. I didn’t take it personally, but not what I was expecting to deal with after long day of work. Please, learn to talk to the customers NICELY. and at least try to be humble. That lost this review two stars.”

“I have been going here for almost 25 years. Victor has always treated me with respect even when I fell on hard times many years ago and no one else did. Besides, the amazing morals of the guy he has beautiful jewelry and a huge selection. The prices are so much more reasonable than your typical jewelry store that has huge mark ups. People never believe what I paid for this top quality jewelry. I always feel like I got the best deal. My first piece I bought approx. 25 years ago is an awesome gold necklace and it is on my neck at this moment. I bought it when I was turning my life situation around knowing if I did not make it I could always sell it for about the price I paid and get some food -as he gave me such a good deal. I am very grateful I have never had to pawn/sell it and 25 years later I am very successful in my career and own my own business and have a great life. BUT I never take off that necklace as it is a reminder to live a good life and hopefully never struggle in poverty etc. again. I buy every important piece of jewelry here and I always will. I consider my self very lucky to have found this place run by an amazing guy with a huge heart for the people in the community regardless their situation. Many thanks!”
