Always great service and seasonally terrific seafood offerings. Quite pricey, but the views of the bay are fantastic. Also only pay parking along the beach so it gets crazy in the summer

Hello. I am in restaurant business so I am very critical when it comes to other places that I don't run. Tonight we ate at the boathouse and it was pleasing. However the true star was Mellisa our server. She did everything right tonight. Very friendly. She sold us our dishes and wine. Even got a few extra dollars out of me for desserts. That is rare. Melissa needs to be in a more trendy spot. Her talent is being wasted at this worn out eatery. Beware boathouse someone is going to scoop her up fast. You can build a team around this one. She is the Connor Mc David of this restaurant. Don't let her get away.

Great place for Happy Hour gatherings as they have decently priced oysters that are very fresh and good cocktails for adults! Not sure about the actual meals, as when we went we just had snacks during happy hour. The reason why they get a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because the service was a little slow and the server did not tell us that a certain type of oyster costed more than the other. Some suggestions I have for them are for the servers to be more informative and for the people shucking the oysters to do it a bit faster.

Has the happy hours on Weekend. Best for the customer gatherers. Seeing that older restaurants owners like Ulis and Charlie don't surf and new business do not so to their detriments.

Just fine. Great view and quality food just nothing to write home about with this venerable White Rock institution. If you go you’ll be happy but you won’t be elated. It’s middle of the road fare. Great wait staff and excellent service.
