“Excellent pictorial exhibit of early Chinese in Vancouver and Canada. There are some old artifacts and items but wish there were more artifacts from local Chinatown. On the second floor is the Chinese Canadian Military Museum. Items were donated to the museum. Although the museum is small but it’s a good start. Lots of room for improvement. Wish more people would donate to the museum to improve its exhibits.”

“This is a great museum and peice of Fraser river history. The staff here have always been friendly and more than happy to teach and share stories. You get to walk through the engine room, machinists room, and upper decks and living spaces. Admission is by donation. A note that if you have mobility issues then this may be tricky for you.”

“Loved it! We also went on a perfect day. Clear, dry Saturday morning. Lots of pilots flying on the airport beside the museum and the museum was pretty quiet.you get to go inside some huge cool airplanes. It is a small museum but it was cool for our 2.5 year old son to run around and get on airplanes and my husband enjoyed getting on a armed forces one. Beautiful view from the mountains if you seat on their benches outside for a snack. Recommended!”

“WE go for the Salmon send off every year, it's a great time for the kids. There are a decent amount of activities to keep the kids busy for a few hours, and overall it's pretty fun. I've only been here a handful of times when the event isn't on and it's hit or miss weather it's open, but when it is, the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great place and it's right beside a very nice nature walk.”

“Such a cool old heritage home, full of history & I love how everything here is passed down through the family so it is original pieces of history that belonged to them, the kitchen is a little more modern as they host tea time lunches and such so they do need a functioning kitchen but it as well still has a lot of original pieces in it. “On Dec.09 of 2018, I got opportunity to visit the exhibition by the invitation from an friend with engineering background. I will say it is one of the best experience I got in Canada. I do not know what I can say because a lot things there gave me great emotion. In fact I am a retired audio engineer with a mixture of emotion and feeling of good and a little sad to leave there.
