Johnny's Motel

First time staying here after the renovations. I enjoyed the place before and now it’s been updated quite a bit! Our room was very clean and tidy. It’s nice being by the river and the price is very affordable. Very satisfied with our stay. Our one complaint was that it would have been nice if there were a couple extra pillows but other than that it was fantastic.

Happy and calm. Will be our new go to place to get away. Danial was friendly and welcoming. Rooms are fresh and very clean. Thank you for a lovely experience. The Olsons

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It has been completely renovated. Bed is very comfortable. Great view of the river. Right in the highway and walking distance to downtown. Pet friendly and budget friendly. This place is a little gem. Highly recommend this place!

This is a "budget motel". It was very clean and our room for 2 had cooking facilities, a fridge with a small working freezer, plates, cutlery, glasses and some of and pans. On the night that we stayed there, the manager explained that Cable and Internet services were not available due to a fire (I believe that is true). Right behind the motel is a very nice river (I think the Granby). The River is easily accessible, even for small children, and when we were there,a very pleasant place to wade. After wading we sat out behind the motel, close to our room and looked at the River, sitting in chairs supplied by the motel

All in all, a bit of a high light of our trip.

I stayed here during the recent heat wave. It's a great location with rooms backing onto the river. I only gave it three stars though as the a/c hadn't been running and it was well after midnight before I got the room cool enough to sleep. This was in contrast to other places I stayed at during the heat wave that had proactively kept the a/c running. It was also the most expensive motel I stayed at and I just felt the value for money was poor as the main reason I checked in was for a cool room and there was nothing exceptional about the room.
