“I'm Chinese with spiky hair on the sides, a pretty high hairline, and an overall pretty weird head shape. So give these things, I've always had trouble finding a barber that was familiar with the shape of my head. Believe me when I say I've been to too many barbers in the lower mainland to count. Most barbers with plenty of experience are used to cutting certain types of head shapes. Good barbers give clean cuts and great fades. Better barbers have helped me identify certain styles that look better with my face, but I have never been to a barber as personalized as Evan Ng (who owns this barber shop). Evan took the time to identify the shape of my head, he took time to understand what I liked and disliked, more importantly he took the time to understand what I did for a living, the type of environment I worked in, and addressed all of these concerns through giving me the best and most appropriate haircut I've ever gotten. I'm not saying he's great because he's experienced, lots of barbers have been cutting for years but aren't that great. Evan is great because he takes the time to figure out what is best, then reconciles that with what his client wants. Probably hands down the best barber I've ever been to anywhere in Canada.”
