“I had BJ and her staff do a yard clean up at my own home... they are quick, professional, knowledgeable and my yard looks fantastic!! They pruned the shrubbery, cleaned out the beds and winterized my garden ... thank you BJ. I highly recommend this company!”

“This store has a great vibe, and it’s in an amazing location. They also went out of their way to make a last-minute fresh bouquet for me within 5 minutes, right before Mother’s Day when I’m sure they are swamped! And, the bouquet was unique, beautiful, and smelled AMAZING! They really went the extra mile for me when they could have easily told me to go somewhere else as they were busy preparing orders. Would absolutely recommend!”

“A favourite for my young toddler. The park is small but great for younger kids. Sometimes parents will leave extra toys out so my daughter loves investigating what is new. Also nice that it is fenced in.”

ecosteam outdoor services Ltd.

“Pandemic social restrictions are lifting, but our garden, patio and walkways had been taken over by weeds. We wanted to host friends and needed a fast solution that didn’t harm our dogs or break our (my) back. Ecosteam sent a technician right away who gave us a great price and no worries about a negative impact to the environment. The results were amazing and strangely therapeutic. The flowers and shrubs are thriving and we have a great space to reconnect and more time to enjoy it.”

Mosquito Creek Park

Address: 3930 Trenton Pl, North Vancouver, BC V7R 3G5, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Grateful for this lovely, wide, gravel trail in the woods running along the west side of Mosquito Creek. Great for off-leash dog walks as the trail is relatively straight, 15-18 ft wide and has good visibility. Total Off-Leash trail area is roughly 40,000 sq ft! Orange dog waste bins, and biodegradable bags near the Fell entrance as well as the half-way point. Plenty of accessible parking if you start at the trailhead at the south end of the Delbrook Rec Centre parking lot. Sadly, not uncommon to find rogue poop on the trail and off-leash dogs roaming in the environmentally sensitive areas despite clear signage. Could also use more complete fencing in certain areas along the trail.”

Alderwood Strip

Address: Alderwood Pl, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1K8, Canada

“Nice use of a space. A simple park, but certainly better than a standard alley or road (which is what a slim strip of land like this could have been potentially used for).”

Queen Mary Community Garden

Address: 280 W Keith Rd #200, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2M5, Canada

Park

“This is a beautiful community garden and well worth a visit. Lots of benches to sit on while enjoying the tranquility and admiring the efforts of the gardeners. All the plots are different and are a good source of ideas for your own garden. I find the gardeners here friendly and happy to talk about their plots. Unfortunately there is a long wait to get your own plot however the garden is still a great place to visit. If you are interested in volunteering there is a sharing section whose produce is donated to groups in need.”
