“A favourite for my young toddler. The park is small but great for younger kids. Sometimes parents will leave extra toys out so my daughter loves investigating what is new. Also nice that it is fenced in.”

The Eye of the Wind

Address: 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver, BC V7R 4K9, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“The eye of the wind was actually quite cool. Make sure to go up when it is windy! Definitely worth the extra cost to go up, it gave a fantastic perspective of the city. Lots of cool facts to read and a glass floor! It's a bit windy, and wouldn't recommend if you get vertigo or are concerned with smaller elevators. Overall would go again, I really enjoyed my time up there!”

Capilano River Hatchery

Address: 4500 Capilano Park Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7R 4L3, Canada

“Went here with my little one to see the jumping salmons. They've made a salmon ladder through the museum for the fishes to take a detour from the main river and give visitors an amazing experience. Will definitely recommend going here. The trails are nice too. We did the Coho trail. Pretty mild even for a 4 year old. All the best.”

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Address: 3735 Capilano Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7R 4J1, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Very nice experience! Clean and neat place! Very accessible place! Parking lot is organized and large enough to take lots of cars, it is not expensive as well! Walking on the suspension bridge was wonderful experience! If you are resident of BC then the annual pass for 57 dollars which is very reasonable price! Highly recommended!”

Mosquito Creek Park

Address: 3930 Trenton Pl, North Vancouver, BC V7R 3G5, Canada

“Grateful for this lovely, wide, gravel trail in the woods running along the west side of Mosquito Creek. Great for off-leash dog walks as the trail is relatively straight, 15-18 ft wide and has good visibility. Total Off-Leash trail area is roughly 40,000 sq ft! Orange dog waste bins, and biodegradable bags near the Fell entrance as well as the half-way point. Plenty of accessible parking if you start at the trailhead at the south end of the Delbrook Rec Centre parking lot. Sadly, not uncommon to find rogue poop on the trail and off-leash dogs roaming in the environmentally sensitive areas despite clear signage. Could also use more complete fencing in certain areas along the trail.”

“I love this farm!!! There are so many adorable creatures here. I especially loved the goat petting area! The goats were adorable and were like dogs 🥺 There were also cows, horses, pigs, bunnies, and ducks 🥺🥺 I saw a super fluffy cute bunny but didn’t pet him because he was sleeping and didn’t want to disturb him 😴 there was also a cow milking demonstration but I didn’t watch it because I was too distracted by the goats. Going here will make your whole week 120% better 🐴🐮🦆🐰🐖”
