Port Moody Taekwondo

My 4 year old son is really shy. He tried 3 other martial art schools in the area and didnt enjoy them at all. All my friends had recommended me port moody tkd and had their children there and I realized how close it was to my house. I should have went with their recommendations in the first place. From the first trial class to his present class 2 days ago. He was welcomed by everyone. My son felt totally.comfortable and has been excelling in their program. They also have an excellent instructor/student instructor ratio which I also believed helped my son out of his comfort zone. My other son turns 4 next year and I'll be putting him into this martial arts school also. I highly recommend port moody Taekwondo to anyone from little ones to adults.

This is a wonderful facility. Everybody that works here is friendly, welcoming and super nice. My son's commitment to this sport is unbelievable since coming here. Thank you to the instructors and everyone working here. Your efforts and commitment to the children does not go unnoticed

My daughter cried on her first day in class because she wanted to try Taekwondo but was too afraid to get out there. Today, at Show and Tell, she is sharing her green belt, her 3rd place tournament trophy, and an award for hard work and positive attitude. In a year and a half at PMTKD, she found a source of confidence and pride. This because the school culture is pure patience and positive reinforcement, with a large dose of personal development. Very recommended!

Everybody at the school is passionate about teaching and taking care of the kids. This is the best school in the area. My kids look forward to the class and gaining new life skills.

My son continues to look forward to his weekly class. The instructors are wonderful! They are kind, fun, experienced/knowledgeable and my son likes them all. Class-instructor ratio is ideal. This is a very positive environment for children where confidence and self-discipline naturally occur. Nothing but great things to say about this studio!
