CHUNYANG TEA (West Blvd)

My order:

Brown Sugar Oat Milk: my favourite order since I am lactose intolerant. They have a whole selection of oat milk drinks on their menu. The pearls are firm & chewy, and I really enjoyed the sweetness of the drink. The brown sugar pearls balances the creamy oat milk very well, for a not-too-sweet drink overall.

Passion Fruit Green Tea: real passion fruit seeds inside (gelatinous pulp that's full of seeds, and the seeds are edible, but on the tart side). The drink overall has a strong tea taste paired with the citrus sweetness from the passionfruit. Tastes very "real", so if you like the overly sugary fake syrup passionfruit drinks, then this is not for you.

ChunYang Oolong Fresh Milk Tea (w/ pearls): ChunYang is known for their oolong tea. This was my friend's order, and the overall review was that the pearls were good and the tea was aromatic.

ChunYang Oolong Milk Tea: another aromatic oolong tea base

Really good... I had just a warm regular milk tea with pearls and oat milk. Bubbles were perfect-- soft and chewy. Menu isn't very big and has very traditional options though- none of the typical fruit slush/ice cream/powdered flavours here.

Tried a hot sugar cane and pudding oolong fresh soy milk tea. Half sweet was enough for the sweetness level - those that don't like sweet drinks could do with a quarter even. The oolong has a great caramelized flavour.

Service was a bit lacking, staff didn't say anything to us the whole time we were browsing the menu. My own drink wasn't mixed well enough despite shaking it myself before drinking. Staff were wearing masks when working.
