If you ever visit Stanley Park make sure to drop by around 9pm to hear it.
Reliably goes boom at SEVEN O'CLOCK until further notice during the pandemic, in honour of frontline workers.
UPDATE: Since August 1, 2020 the Nine O'Clock Gun has reverted to its usual and eponymous 9pm schedule.
If you love the loud shot sound then must visit this place before 9pm. Fires loud cannon blast.
The clock is located inside the Stanley Park and it’s one of the best places in the Park to see the city skyline, both day and night. If you want good pictures of Vancouver that’s definitely a good choice. Everyday at 9PM the Gun Fires. As it’s a really quick event it’s recommend to arrive on site some minutes prior to 9PM and get a good spot to watch and record it.
Cannon shots everyday at 9 PM but during covid-19 era it was at 7 PM. One of the best things in Stanley Park for me.
