“I was a bit leery at first due to having some bad experiences with three veterinarian hospitals in this area but to my delight Dr. Charach proved that there are still some honest professionals out here. I was expecting to have our dog subjected to all kinds of blood tests or other cash grab procedures; instead, Dr. Charach outlined a very logical process where only necessary procedures were done and that other procedures would only be necessary pending the outcome of what was prescribed. This is so refreshing compared to the vets in this area where they do a shot gun approach and get you to do all kinds of tests before they give your pet all kinds of treatments. The staff is very friendly and the premises are also very clean. We will definitely be recommending them to our family and friends!”

“We’ve had great experiences here with both of our cats. The vet techs and support staff at the front desk are always incredible and friendly. We never hesitate to bring our cats here. As is the same in all animal hospitals, there are some vets that we personally like more than others, but I would trust any of them to care for our cats.”

“This clinic has such a welcoming and friendly environment. The doctor and his staff put in an immense amount of time and effort into caring for each of their client's health and well-being. In terms of prices, it is definitely one of the more reasonable places. I highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners.”

“I chose this clinic without reading the reviews; my friend suggested this place to me, and I am glad I listened to her. Dr Mahdi is very caring and answers all my questions, which are too many btw, very patiently. Now that I read the reviews, I am glad that the only negative reviews are about “unnecessary” tests. I would rather do some extra tests for my dog and get normal results than see a vet who suggests diagnosis without testing. Thanks Dr Mahdi and the team for your care and kindness.”

“I adopted my rescue cat Cali back in 2013, she has been the sweetest most loving cat. In 2019 she started losing a lot of weight, after a few trips to the vet (I live in Alberta) they recommended this company to treat her. I was a little skeptical at first but I love my cat and was told these people are the best. After talking on the phone with one of the staff I booked my cat Cali in to get treated in October. They were very helpful and professional and could tell they really knew what they were doing. So I drove to Vancouver (1,200 km) and they take Cali for the business week while I go back to Alberta. They called me every day to update me on how she was doing. Then I drove back to get her. Overall they were delightful to deal with and were very accommodating of my schedule and arranged for a time for me to pick her up. It is now almost 7 months later and my Cali is looking healthy again, when I had her checked at the vet about two months ago they said her thyroid levels were perfect. These guys are the best, in total I drove 4,400 km to get my cat treated, spent two nights in a hotel, and paid for the treatment and it was all worth it. If anyone is every wondering about using these guys, I absolutely recommend them. I have uploaded two pictures where you can see the before and after treatment, the before picture was on the drive to Vancouver. Thank you for helping my kitty!”

“Some years back when he was at Granville Island Veterinary, Dr. Clark saved our beautiful formerly feral boy cat from cancer. Dr. Clark is exactly the guy you want to feel assured that every intelligent thing will be done for your animal. He's kind, quick-thinking, intuitive, proactive, has great energy, and really knows his stuff. He's also great at explaining diagnoses and what should be done in just the right lay-speak, and does great follow-up phone calls. So happy to have found Dr. Clark again at Point Grey and would follow him to any veterinary clinic he was at - as long as we were on the same continent?! In our experience, the perfect vet.”

“The staff and doctors at Amherst truly went above and beyond in caring for our kitty throughout her long life. They are friendly, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. In particular, Dr. Beneke was exceptionally empathetic and thorough in helping us to manage care in late stage kidney disease. Our family will always be grateful to everyone at this office for the kindness and quality of care they delivered.”

Intercity Animal Emergency Clinic

“First time going here when we found out our new kitten had worms. They were very friendly and attentive. Went on a Saturday and the office called to check up on her on the following Wednesday, very impressed because I've never experienced a check up call from a vet before and this is our second cat. The appointment fee is only $10 to $15 dollars more than a regular vet but those aren't open on weekends. We will definitely use them again!”
