Beautiful daily exercise trail. You can zig around the park between Forrest and Hemer Lake to increase and shorten the walk distance. Small valley view, colorful leaf, lake side plants, white geese etc.
Serene and peaceful walk with small bodies of water on both sides where you can see and hear a variety of wildlife. The trail is very well kept, and has maps around so you know where you are, and plenty of shortcuts through the park if you want a shorter walk, or longer trails that you can explore.
Main path around the marsh is multiuse (biking, walking, or horseback riding) and is stroller friendly. Secluded and quite when we went in the evening. More hiking trails surrounding the main path.
Beautiful lush forest and lake. Very easy walking trail that’s fairly flat, and well maintained. It’s a 4km loop with various shorter options.
I think this is a great park with some great paths to take. I saw swans swimming in the lake the first time I went which was really cool. They’re nice open paths and there’s a nice long stretch of flat by Holden Lake I really enjoy (the Morden Colliery Regional Trail). Overall I gave it four stars as it’s kept clean, it has some nice trails, not too challenging,, some nice scenery and great for a nice little hike.
