I popped in and asked if Lori could make me a hair piece, she said sure, have a seat and I'll make it right now. So bubbly and friendly, asked me to cut my own piece of leather, choose the bits and was done within minutes. I've wanted one of these for YEARS!

My favorite tradition when we come to Vancouver Island is to buy a hand thrown mug from a local pottery studio, even in the time of COVID-19!

We drove out of town for a few minutes and this adorable shop was packed with gorgeous pieces of pottery and hand made leather pieces as well.

I found a mug, a perfect plate and my new granola bowl 💙

I even found a great little leather satchel that fits my phone perfectly and got to meet the maker herself in the studio.

We will absolutely be back.
