This time we went when the snow was starting to melt. It was raining and wet but the view is still very spectacular. Anyone going out there during this time should be aware that some areas are VERY slippery.
Nice hiking trail loop around and over the river; rock canyons waterfalls are really impressive. If you like this sort of scenery then you will also enjoy the much larger Maligne Canyon in Jasper, Alberta
Absolutely gorgeous waterfalls you can see from many different angles as you hike along fairly easy trails in the woods. Flush toilets open some of the year, pit toilets are the back up. Unforgettable experience! We visited after heavy rainfall so the falls were super powerful!
Quite the place to visit. Have been when it's dry out and it's still been impressive. During the rain its raw power is amazing.
Tip: Park in the small parking lot and walk in, it's much closer to the falls than the main parking lot.
Some 4/5 falls with short trails. Lots of protection with fences at all the cliff edges. Good for children and dogs. Did not camp, but camping looks alright. I prefer somewhere with water to jump in.
