“We did both a wine tasting and dinner. Both were very well handled. They have improved their selection of wine, so we bought several bottles. Dinner was excellent, with selections for both Indian food lovers and those wanting more regular fare. The lamb masala was excellent and they even had good beer for this non-wine drinker. Definitely go again.”

“Even though the skies were filled with smoke the view was beautiful. We made an early reservation so we could get a patio table. Ordered their Pinot Noir which I would recommend and the Scallops (though you only get 3 for $21.00). For dinner my husband had duck and I had the chicken. Rate all food with a "10" and we ordered bread. Our server was from Finland originally and she was exceptional. Highly recommend”

“I have stayed here now a few times as I come to picture at Area27. I have always been pleased with the service and the rooms are absolutely perfect! Love the kitchens so I can cook as I work a lot on my computer and don’t go out much. They are pet friendly and beyond accommodating for last minute requests. Would recommend them above any other place to stay.”

“We stayed at this rustic bed and breakfast for 6 nights. Online the pictures of the property looked pretty good. But when we got there, part of the house is covered in tarp and the front door to this mysterious part of the home is padlocked. We wondered what was stored in there and we felt uncomfortable sleeping in a room situated next to unfriendly part of the B&B. The pool is very clean and consists of saltwater but the hardware located in a corner by the pool is unsightly and takes away from the beauty of the pool. It wouldn't take long to build a shelter covering this unattractiveness. The BBQ is old but works and there were a lot of wasps. So bring wasp rackets and spray to protect yourself if you want to grill your lunch or dinner. The owners are lovely and work hard. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was renovated nicely. Also, a young couple with a young child lives on the property in a trailer close to the home. When their friends visit, parking is tight. Overall, it's not a bad B&B but it needs work.”

“I visited this place back in 2013 with an ex and I found out he passed away yesterday. One of my most memorable times with him was visiting this place. The views were beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, and the service was professional and courteous while respecting our privacy. I look forward to returning to this B&B with my family one day.”

“This place is a total rare and unique special place on a farm, on a creek with your own house, a hay barn with golden light, warm air and quiet.”

“I discovered this place by chance and I will come back again. When I was there camping for 4 days there was wild fires unfortunately and with the helicopters running all day it wasn't so quiet but I can't complain, I thought fire fighters where doing an amazing job and I was the lucky one having to enjoy a vacation if only for 4 days. The camping is great, they are very professional, there is a little store inside the office where you can buy bread and milk or butter, ice creams, coffee, ice for your fridge, just a little convenient store. Also there is a laundry room inside the main office. I enjoyed the little lake swimming in the hot days we stayed there , 37 degrees, the water was cooling the heat! I do reccomend this place (although I don't really want to because it will be even busier than it is already ????) but they deserve the good reviews, and I forgot to mention they also have beautiful cabins on the lake. For dog lovers they have a large area for TVs and tent camping with a playground and dog park as well. Showers cost $1x4 minutes, enough for a good shower, washrooms sparkly clean and well serviced in every area, with a sink to wash your dishes outside.”

“I like this place because it's very simple. Caters with all basic needs in a room. Has a full kitchen (gas stove, coffee, fridge, microwave, utensils etc). Beds are comfy and our family had good sleep. Internet, TV with Chromecast, HDMI outputs we very handy. Parking is outside your door (very handy in winters). Has a full BBQ station with tanks and utensils. An area for socializing with other people. Open air swimming pool for summers. Right on the highway (perfect). I don't want to compare with other hotels because, "The more fancier you go, the more $$'s you pay". (Very simple theory). I would definately come back.”

“I love this place. It's such a serene environment with diverse noises at night and day. In the day you hear kids playing, and birds chirping. At night, you hear the sounds of crickets and nothing else. The night sky is truly beautiful, you can usually see the milky way arm with the naked eye. Great lake too, there's always people there and everyone is friendly. We have been coming here for 10 years. TL:DR - You must come here. Great staff, great community, great place.”

“We LOVED it. I don't think there's anywhere else in the Okanagan where you get private beachfront with only 4 units in the resort. Clean rooms, beautiful views, and all the amenities you could ask for. We'll definitely be back!”
