“Is it really a trip to the Okanagan if you aren't getting ripe fruit? We always stop at Lasser on our way back to Vancouver after going home to visit the folks in Penticton. We also always say we are going to try somewhere else, drive around and look at a few other stands, and then go back to Lasser. Lots of different options, always fresh. I know it is "all the same fruit" but Lasser is always #1 for us.”

“A hidden gem for sure. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the tour is fascinating. When we arrived the owner greeted us and was super friendly. We chatted for a bit before going exploring (see all the beautiful pics). This is one of my new favorite spots and I will be making it a regular stop for me when I am in town. The restaurant was not open so I now have something to look forward to for my next visit. Stop in and you won't be disappointed.”

“Clean, quiet rooms (kitchenette) with a homemade breakfast reminiscent of a full Irish breakfast. Homemade scones, fresh fruit cup, homemade jam, fresh squeezed juice, delicious egg scramble and hot coffee. Well taken care of. Relaxing, fresh, and clean. Returned on our way back through for sandwiches at their cafe, complete with homemade bread. Delish! Left with peaches picked fresh off their trees.”

It is easy to think that you are visiting a heritage display emphorium as there is both old and almost new items that are part life and history in North America. The best part it is mostly all For Sale. The husband and wife team have a passion for what they do and were quick to to offer a solution to an empty exterior wall with a vintage ornate butterfly. Jack's Town Trader is a must stop and visit destination on BC' s beautiful Hwy #3 slightly East of Keromeos.”

“Very rustic countryside place. I found good quality homemade pie, and learned that they can bake cakes and bread to order, that was in 2016. It is good to get out of the "normal" shopping centre and connect to people who's ancestors actually helped build Canada. Learn a bit of history while there, the locals know about the old gold mines in the area, where are the best camping spots or where you could go for gold panning”
