“We chose a site with 3 separate camping spots which was perfect for our group. It had 4 fire pits so we used onr as a communal cooking area. There was an outhouse to be used. The site is unmaintained so everin must be taken out. Part of our group ventured down the trail but didnt get to the falls. Only down side and it is a doosy is the flys. Big black flys. Will definitely go back maybe when the weather cools down a bit.”

“We make sure to go to manning as a family at least once a year. This last time was amazing! We stayed in a cabin for three nights, it was newly renovated and was not advertised as such. It was a very nice surprise! We enjoyed the pool many times, went for snow walks, skied, spent quality time with our family and tubing. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Sandy (I hope I got her name right) in particular stood out for our family. She was amazing with my scared five year old son at tubing and went out of her way to ensure he had fun. She was so friendly and took time out of her day to make him feel special and leave having had a good time.”

“Nice campground, book in advance as we just squeezed by and found 1 site left, and was right on the water. Bathrooms, are out-styled outside but flushing toilets inside. Pack in food; and plan a trip. No easy "runs" to the nearest store. Small community store but limited selection, but still thank it's got some bread and milk.....”

“As of 2021 the waterslides have been decommissioned. The waterslide's were fun, but the lots were pretty small and the fees were expensive. Staff were friendly but campers arnt offered a premium rate on waterslides when camping there. No hand soap in washrooms, great view of the city. Will probably not be coming back as the provincial campgounds are cheaper and lots are larger.”

“It’s my first time spending the winter in Canada sense I retired 6 years ago. Because of COVID, I’m not able to travel to the USA this year (2020), so I needed to find a spot in B.C. to get away from the Alberta cold. I found a spot at Apple Beach in Oliver. What a find?. (Don’t believe the bad reviews from some of the posts about the park. I 100% RV now and trust me, I’ve see bad Parks, and this is definitely not one of them). 1) The owners of the park are very nice and very helpful (Gary & Marilyn). 2) washrooms and laundry mat are always clean. 3) Gary makes a walk around the park several times a day to make sure everyone is following the rules and to take care of any issues that may come up. 4) A lot of the people that are staying over for the winter here have been coming back from 10 to 15 years now. I would say about 95% of them are from Albert. There you have it. A lot more to say, put I may run out of room. ? Stay safe, but don’t forget to enjoy life. Non of us know how long we have here. God bless.”

“This is a very clean, quiet resort that is well maintained. Excellent for families with or without kids. The lake is great for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is a little small for the amount of people that use it but it never seems to bother anyone.”

“I love this place. It's such a serene environment with diverse noises at night and day. In the day you hear kids playing, and birds chirping. At night, you hear the sounds of crickets and nothing else. The night sky is truly beautiful, you can usually see the milky way arm with the naked eye. Great lake too, there's always people there and everyone is friendly. We have been coming here for 10 years. TL:DR - You must come here. Great staff, great community, great place.”
