“Anytime, I am close to lakes, mountains and the great outdoors I find solace and peace of mind. A natural reservoir to recharge. Our soul reconnects to truth if we have lost it. Haynes Point just off Hwy 97 en route to US border is a great place to enjoy the outdoors for a leisurely stroll. Children ride freely and here in Osoyoos the Owl and Quail serenade you. A day picnic in one of many private well groomed spots, a beach for your pet with fire pits to grill if conditions permit. A close walk from Safari Beach and Lakeside motels. Wear good shoes.take a snack, water. Good facilities and change houses. A simple health giving family outing. Thanks OIB - Osoyoos Indian Band. “Nice small beach busy in the summer.”

“We enjoyed going here with our grandchildren. They had lots if fun on the go carts and bumper boats. There is not much for little ones under 5 to do maybe one ride. The older kids liked mini golf and the tornado and tilt a whirl. In the past they loved the bungee tree but this time our older daughter got hurt due to one of the operators. It wasn't serious but it made it much less fun. The kids liked the arcade and everyone enjoyed the ice cream. The older kids got glitter tattoos and went back in the evening for more go carting. A good experience over all. Definitely recommend a visit when you are in Osoyoos. I would have given it 5 stars except for the trampoline operator. Too be fair, the girls wrnt back later at night ( they got the all day pass) and they went on the bungee tree again with a different operator and had lots of fun :) We even sampled mini donuts and deep fried pickles and they were good too.”

“A wonderful museum! The volunteer at the front was knowledgeable and very friendly. They have many interactive areas and not everything is behind glass. You can get up close and personal with their history and Canadian history. My kids had a wonderful time and learned a little something too!! An absolute must stop and see if you are in the Osoyoos area! Go in the morning though if it is in the summer, no central air 🤗”

“Not typically my kinda thing to go and see... but 2 coworkers in Alberta told me I had to go, that it was a highlight of their trips into BC. I have to admit, it easily became one of mine too. Very well done. The creators put a lot of imagination and passion into their creation.... and its huge. I'd go back 100%. Also.... look for the nude beach 😝”

“Forbidden Fruit is our favorite winery. The wines are exquisite to say the least. If Carl Jung is the authority on dreams, Forbidden Fruit is the authority on fruit wines. Absolutely heavenly to the palate. Adams Apple, Pearsuasion, Apricot dessert wine, Plum dessert wine, Earth Series Cab Sav... they are in a league of their own. Most wineries have at least 1 or 2 wines that are a 10/10, but it seems that 10/10's are all that Forbidden Fruit produces.. For the high quality of the wine, the price point is excellent, and competitive. We bought a case & a half so that we are stocked up for the Thanksgiving & Christmas season (they even insisted that we choose a complimentary bottle!). Wonderful to share at gatherings and ultra satisfying to blow your friends minds as they enjoy it. We've been to many farmers markets and sampled other fruit wines, but they just miss. Forbidden Fruit creates something unforgettable.”

“Great family run estate winery. Big patio for guests to enjoy their wine and a bite from their deli cooler. Their white porr is delicious!”

“Learned a lot about the culture. Admission is by donation but I think they should charge a set price because the information is very valuable. We were greeted by "Guitar Player" who had a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended”

“Very good craft Ciders, recommended! Tried the dry and semi dry apple ciders, both had that fresh apple hit on initial taste with an aftertaste a few seconds later of over ripe apples. Quite distinctive and pleasing. Then had the apple-plum and the apple-cherry. Usually I wouldn't consider mixed fruit ciders, but I loved the apple-cherry and we're taking that one home.”

“Really enjoyed the tasting. I have never done one before but as it was just a short walk away, I decided to go with my wife. I have to say I really liked it. We we on the patio, and given 5 different kinds of wine. I am not a big wine fan but I did really like the Moscato at the end. Beautiful, quiet day!”

“We didn't make a reservation, but they were still able to accommodate us on the spot. Beautiful grounds and tasty wines. Staff were very friendly and shared enough about the wines to make me feel a little out of my league (it's been a few years since I've stopped to really think about the wine I'm drinking and the process it goes through). Overall a very pleasant experience and one I would definitely recommend if in the Oliver area.”

“We stopped here on a whim, and even though they are not tasting right now, if the experience ... sans tasting... is any indication, there is no doubt we will be back. The host was more than just world class, he was a wealth of information and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. We highly recommend this winery. As well as an EV owner it was great to get a bit of charge while while we chatted. Ontario Tesla owner”

“I love everything this winery has to offer, and have for many years. Their whites have always been strong, but the reds are also really fantastic now. Bubbles, port, ciders, you can't go wrong. (On that note, we bought some cider despite not tasting it there, and it is delightful)! I do have to say that I'm sorry to hear it has been sold to Tinhorn Creek, and really hope the quality doesn't change.”

“This place is a must visit if you're in the Okanagan. The staff were very welcoming. The owner seems to take a scientific approach to his wine making. Expect some complex, delicious wine. Tastings were modestly priced and included if you buy a bottle. The cave tour is what really made this place special. It really shows you the work the owner puts into this place. I also can't even describe the smell of the air in the caves. Spectacular.”
