Sandcastle at South Beach

A beautiful place to relax, enjoy nature and meet amazing people!

I would highly recommend staying at the sandcastle for many reasons! One, it's close to South Beach which is honestly the prettiest beach I have been to in Canada, and also close to many other beaches! At night, not even a 5min walk well get you the best sunset ever.
Todd the owner is the friendliest human being I have ever met, who will go beyond and over to make your stay amazing, he will help in any way he can.
The suites have amazing views overlooking the ocean, and generally were very comfortable, we had no issues and nothing to complain about.
And above all that, Todd provides free bicycles on the property to be used to go for rides on the island, and also 2 free canoes on the beach to be used.
Everyone on the island is so friendly, it was definitely one of my best getaways and I will be coming back for sure.

Not generally a review poster - but I had to take the extra time to say how impressed I was by all the extra effort Todd, the owner/host put in to making our stay perfect.

First of all - beautiful views from the suite. And it’s only a short walk down to south beach and over to the taxi terminal. Getting to Savary is a bit of a journey but once there, Todd made it so easy - he picks you up from the dock in his spacious truck that held (all 5) of our belongings and food with lots space to spare. It’s a steep hill up from the water taxi so even though it’s close, a ride is definitely appreciated.

The suites all have amazing views (patio views) and have comfortable beds. Were all very clean and comfortable. The bbq and patio was an awesome spot for dinner in the evening.

He gives a great detailed history of the island and knows all the interesting spots to check out.

He owns several bikes, kayaks - although only available on special request.

Overall, very impressed and appreciate great hospitality. Very relaxing, hassle free, and was well worth our price and time to get there.
