The Savary Island Resort

A secluded paradise! All spaces are modern and clean with a West coast artistic touch. The resort has all the amenities you could Want - internet worked great, several showers for the communal spaces, amazing sauna, well-appointed kitchen (15 of us cooked non-stop!). If you are looking for a nature getaway that doesn't sacrifice on comfort, this is absolutely your spot. The owner/operator Samantha is a pleasure to deal with as well.

I had an incredible time at Savary Island Resort. I was amazed by the beauty and peace of the location. It is nestled in the middle of the forest, only a few minutes away from the beach.
We were staying in one of the main lodge, so magical! King size bed, bath tub with a view on the beautiful trees, well equipped kitchen, fireplace … so relaxing 🤩
We were with a group of friends and spent a lot time cooking and chilling all together in the main kitchen, the lounge area and outdoor spaces, it is all very well thought of for big groups.
Coming all the way from France, I fell in love with the island. You can swim, hike, dive, soak up the sun, go paddle boarding or just take some time for yourself, it has it all.
Oh and the resort has an awesome sauna !!

I loved this place; it was most beautiful and relaxing.

The resort is well suited for a small wedding, or a retreat of some kind. I went there with a group of friends to do some freediving. We had lots of fun exploring the island and beaches all around and the resort was a haven to reset. The large kitchen and common space was fantastic for group cooking & hanging out. The sauna and cold bath was an awesome bonus and our host was spot on in making our stay very comfortable.

Mermaid Beach is a 5 minute walk down the trail which is an awesome spot to take in the sunsets and go for a swim or paddle. You could walk most of the island although a bike may get you around a little faster. That being said the beaches are where it's at and going on foot gives you more freedom to explore and go with the flow.

Savary Island Resort is an absolute gem! I recently visited this hidden paradise and left feeling truly inspired. The whole island is one big sand bar making the beaches some of the most incredible in the gulf islands! The communal areas are very well thought out.. you will certainly spend a good amount of time in the stunning kitchen making epic meals and memories for your group ! you can quickly scoot down the hill to mermaid beach to take in the sunsets and forage for oysters when the tide pulls out. Oh and the Sauna !!! I'd go back just for that.

What an incredible escape from the city, definitely worth the trek up to Savary! Set in the woods, this tranquil resort is less than five minutes' walk from the beach, has an incredible wood-fired sauna and cold plunge and an amazing communal kitchen/lounge space that brings everyone together. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thanks Sam!
