Old Man Pho

Stopped here for lunch and couldn't have been better. Spring rolls and all your favorite Pho items. They're in the old Skeeter Jack's location just south or Powell River. A great place for great food and service.

Stopped here twice: once for Pho, once for Bahn Mi. Both were excellent - good flavour and very fresh. Interesting vibrant interior as well as a nice patio area. They seem to do quite a few specials that may not be on the menu so check the chalkboard or inquire if calling for takeout.

Every dish I've selected has been delicious, fresh, flavourful and made with pride and care. All is homemade, including the buns for the best sandwich on the coast! You're gonna wanna try the specials ... as you work your way through the extensive and yummy menu. Come, enjoy, come back, and support this great local eatery! We're lucky to have such a spot here!

Well thought out Vietnamese menu, excellent quality, generous portions, Townsite beer on tap and lovely owners. I wouldn't hesitate to go again 👍👍

If you look at my profile you will notice I had one favourite thing that I MUST try anywhere I go… pho. Well I was so happy to find that Old Man Pho has opened up near Powell River! When we drove by we knew we must stop in. For it being in an “out of the way” location, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. It was a good attempt for perhaps having supply issues (the pho house special had brisket, rare beef and beef balls).

Ask for the chili oil and sate sauces! Comes with and adds great flavour!

Service was a bit slow but was there during the dinner rush. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in this neck of the woods
