“Stopped by this cute coffee shop during our visit to Powell River. Super friendly staff. I had a Lavender Bliss tea and Cabin cookie - so good! The cookie was packed with seeds, nuts and raisins (cranberries?). Almost granola bar-like. Very tasty, filling and fueled me up for the day's adventures. Tea was absolutely lovely. Check out their great merch and of course the Sasquach mural!!! Highly recommend.”

“I always enjoy dining here! It is quite the experience if you are looking for one! Such a cute and quaint place with their friendly and personable staff members (who know how to crack jokes at just the right time!) I always leave feeling full of amazing food and wanting to go back, just as I step down the stairs. Lol. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good food, a calm atmosphere, and/or just somewhere cozy to enjoy a coffee looking at the sea. Oh! And their IN-HOUSE-MADE Jam is literally to die for! So good! And when the berry season is good, they sell it to customers! How amazing! Honestly, it's just the best place I've been yet. I have never had to wait in line in the handful of times I've been so far (bound to increase as time goes on) and the tables are always clean, just like the floors and everything else. A well maintained joint. I never feel as if I've spent too much for my plate; the portions are darn big! And so freakin tasty!! Drooling just thinking about their dishes! If you haven't hit up Edie Rae's Cafe, then you have not yet experienced the whole power of Powell River ❤️🔥”

“Holy bakery! So many choices! Eye candy to a whole new level. Full from just looking! Not just one type of cinnamon roll, but three… Scones, muffins, cookies and more. They also have a great menu for lunch and dinner. Might need to visit multiple days to try each meal. Highly recommend coming here-you wont regret It because everything is soo delicious, however, you will be too full! Great service! Dine inside or out, of get it t to go.”

“We stopped for a couple of Lattes, a Ranchero and a Wake and Bacon breakfast/brunch snack. The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee were excellent! They even threw in a couple free cookies due to a small delay with one of the food orders. Also loved the original artwork on the walls. Thoroughly recommend Base Camp Coffee.”

“It's my favorite place to stay in Powell River. I have stayed here three times, and the apartments are always super clean. The location is a little bit further from town, but they have a grocery store downstairs. The staff are very friendly at the store. Highly recommended!”
