“We had the pleasure of staying at Paula and Marius' beautiful beach house at the start of June. They were the most kind, accommodating and generous hosts. Their place is the perfect stay in the Sunshine Coast - right on the sea, beautiful views, and close to great hikes and kayaking. We even had the pleasure of seeing a pod of dolphins swimming in the sea whilst having dinner on the balcony one evening! Their suite is so comfortable and clean, and Paula's garden is a sight to behold. I only hope I can visit again soon!”

“This place was an absolute delight. We've already recommended it to others and will definitely be coming back. The brewery (especially their outdoor area) and the Indian restaurant (both within 1 block) were great too. Definitely eat at the onsite restaurant for breakfast! It was the best free breakfast I've had, and the service was amazing.”

“Absolutely loved our stay here! Small campground, with large sites. Very quiet and clean. Owners are super friendly and helpful, with lots of knowledge of the area to provide information on where to go or what to do. Beautiful drive away from the hustle of in town. Will definitely be going back.”

“I stayed here while I was in town for a wedding. The gardens are gorgeous and the cottages are very cute, however two of my aunts fell while walking through the gardens to get to their rooms and injured their ankles and hips. The driveway is also quite steep. It may not be the best place to stay for those who have mobility issues as you do need to walk over uneven surfaces.”

“Wow! The best little hostel I've been to. Rooms are spare (as in all hostels), but up to date and clean. Bathrooms likewise, but with really nice rain showerheads as well. The common room is cozy, quirky, and cute. Edwin (the owner/manager) is amazing. Super friendly and a really interesting guy if you get chatting. An easy 5 stars.”

“Had a great time at Willingdon Beach. It has full amenities plus more! They provide showers, laundry and a large sink to clean dishes located at one main bathroom. Would definitely go back but next time would prefer closer to the beach. There's also a burger, chicken finger & fries stand, decent sized park for the kids, water park, ice cream and mini golf across the street as well. Definitely great spot for camping or day use for the whole family. Would highly recommend checking out.”

“This is an old school motel that has been recently renovated. It has every feature we wanted and more. The price is right, and it couldn't be more centrally located. Very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the owner was extremely kind. It has that motel charm that comes from decades of layered paint. It lacks the corporate sheen and polished delivery which, to its benefit, makes this feel familiar instead of impersonal.”

“Probably the best option in Powell River if you want to be in the centre of town. We had an ocean view King room but true ocean view is on the top floor suites only. We saw the ocean from our room but we also overlooked garbage dumpsters out back next to the parking lot plus heard a lound vent every morning. Carpet in room looks worn with stains. Pillows are super flat. Asked front desk for firmer pillows but they didn't appear. No front desk service outside of 9am-6pm. No amenities outside the spa. We were out hiking or kayaking most days so this hotel was fine to crash at night - it's very average and feels more like a motel.”

“We rented a trailer with Lahey Rentals and had a wonderful time. We paid to have the trailer delivered and set up and this was very convenient. The trailer was clean and well kept, although it could have used a few more bowls :) Overall a positive experience and I would rent again. Powell river is so beautiful and a wonderful place to visit.”

“It's my favorite place to stay in Powell River. I have stayed here three times, and the apartments are always super clean. The location is a little bit further from town, but they have a grocery store downstairs. The staff are very friendly at the store. Highly recommended!”

“Beautiful facility where all rooms face the ocean. Spectacular views. Nice and quiet, but conveniently located just off the highway. Very friendly, helpful staff. Only two minor concers. 1 - the driveway to the hotel is 'interesting', some sections closed or blocked. Took a few minutes to figure out on our arrival. 2 - room service isn't available during your stay unless it is 4 days or more, and even then you must explicitly request it. Not sure what you would do for stays of 3 days or less, reuse the towels? All in all an excellent place, will return if I have the opportunity.”

It was definitely took a lot of stress from us while looking for rental unit while we are relocating. I just did a good clean for the time we were are here.”

“Gave 5 stars as it was exactly as advertised. A good price. Clean rooms. A decent kitchen with full sized fridge ,stove, microwave kettle and coffee maker etc. Parking is fine and it is pet friendly with a small fee. As mentioned in other reviews the motel is on a well . This has a what I assume is a little iron in it which colours the water a bit. We just brought a couple of gallons of water with us for drinks. Problem solved..”

“Beautiful spot. Owners keep a clean and tidy campground. Our campsite had access to the ocean below. Full service. WiFi is good. Very reasonable rate. Rules are enforced....which means a great deal. Close to town and both ferries. Would stay here for the summer if we had the chance. Only lacking a larger laundry facility on site. Loved this place.”

“Review We stayed at this B&B with our family including 3 kids under 5 and oh my I can’t say enough about how wonderful this magical place was. Every drawer, every room is filled w board games/drawing materials and any entertainment that you can think of. We can’t stop talking about our trip and how friendly Jessie and her family were. It felt like I was staying at a relative’s house 😁. The kids were busy playing either in the house or outside in the farm or on the play ground. Everything was perfect; the house, the breakfasts and the LOVELY hosts. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We’re already planning on going back this Summer again.”

“Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable suite. Suite had everything we needed. Blue Herons and Kite surfers were on the beach, so fun to watch. Rob was great at answering all of my questions before we arrived. If guest has mobility issues, the lower suite wouldn't work, as parking is at the top and walk down the driveway, but for us, lots of room to park our big truck and walking down to the suite was not an issue.”

“Trans friendly, a truly beautiful piece of land with very nicely sized tent spots. It's super close to the river and the store, and has nice bathrooms. My only complaint was the physical location of the tent spots - they are the only sound break for the road noise, with the rv's in the middle. This means that morning ferry traffic is pretty disruptive if you're trying to sleep in. The tent spots are also very close together, so careless tent and car placement by you or a neighbor could definitely lead to snoring neighbors being intensely disruptive. Still, a great place to stay!”
