Rigger’s Pub Style Restaurant

We had some of the best fish and chips we've ever had there with delicious burgers and fries. The fish was caught by the owner and it was offered to us to have as they were making it.

Amazing and lovely people, totally would love to go back there. We saw some deer just passing by near the back of the pub when we were eating which was a beautiful sight.

Savary Island is one of the most beautiful places in BC! This little restaurant/pub is one of the only places to get food/drink on the island. It serves Townsite beer from Powell River and a good variety of other bottled drinks, wine and high balls. The food selection is typical pub but a small menu. This is a great place to visit when you are on the island. They open early on Tuesday since it is farmer market day just up the street.

Food was decent, service was slow, but that’s the island pace! This place doesn’t work quite like other restaurants in that you must go inside, order, pay and then find your table. The food took a long time to arrive, but we weren’t in a rush so that was fine. Small menu, basic pub food, but it wasn’t bad.
