“We stopped here on the way back from the sunflower field, after seeing the sign out on the road. For some reason we were expecting the type of staffed roadside stand we’re used to seeing at home, but this was just someone’s home with a cute little refrigerated shed full of vegetables that operates on the honour system. We chose potatoes, garlic, and zucchini, and everything was wonderfully fresh. We would’ve bought way more if we were staying in the area for longer. A definite must if you’re looking to go off the beaten path and buy the freshest produce around.”
