Nice green space . Thier always a line up to take pictures with the olmimpic rings lol . Its got a outside stage for events etc . Grass area and picnic tables and chairs around . Its got a good kids play park . Its close to nearby restaurants ,hotels ,washrooms. Yes its wheelchair access park .
Visted Whistler during the summer so it wasn't an ice skating rink, but simply a meeting place in the park during a concert. Very green, large space with a few hundred people. I'm sure it's beautiful during the winter!
I visited here on Canada day on Canada day that is July 1st 2022., There was a little concert in Whistler Olympic plaza.
It was a Sunny day very nice vibe.
There are restaurants around the plaza.
Hotels all around nearby.
Hotels were expensive as it was long weekend.
So I recommend to plan weigh ahead for good deals.
There is a fresh market, Where you can buy fruit snacks wafers and even hot food if you don't want to dine in a restaurant.
Overall Whistler was a good experience was just for one night stay.
This is one of the most beautiful towns I have been in, inside Canada. It is a great place to go for a getaway, mountain biking, skiing. Visited on June 1st, and the weather was quite pleasant. Great place to take some beautiful photos.
Nicely decorated and available for everyone to enjoy on the new year eve. Although COVID stopped so many business to be available on December 31, but our kids enjoyed playing in stacked snow piles and small slopes for their sled party.
