The distributor was extremely stuck in there and one of their mechanics worked at it a few minutes each day until it came out(him doing so saved my engine). To all of you at scfs and especially that one mechanic a huge THANK YOU! Also they did all this at a very reasonable rate incase anyone was wondering about that part.”

“The hood of our Murano started smoking as we were taking the ferry over from Saltary bay. I called around and Patty was very helpful in providing some instructions over the phone. We unfortunately were overheating so had to get a tow with BCAA to his shop. I was nervous pulling up as it is a repair shop in a barn in a more residential part of Sechelt. After a diagnostic, it was discovered that our radiator had a big crack in the top and would need replacing. Paddy was great at updating us on getting the part and working with our timelines as we were only in town for a couple of days. Our vehicle has worked great since we had the repair done. Thank you so much Patty. Really appreciate your help as we were in a tricky situation away on holiday and needing to get back to the Comox valley in timely manner. “Extremely grateful to the owners (I assume they're a couple) for their time, generosity, honesty, and humour. I drove my low-based car through a big rock on the Sechelt highway (it was in the middle of the lane, couldn't avoid it in time), and pieces of the engine cover came loose -- we ripped off a couple pieces on the road, but I wanted to get it checked to make sure nothing major was amiss. The lady told me they didn't have any available appointments (I got there around 12:30 and they close at 2pm) but asked Trevor to take a quick test drive for me. He did that, but he also went ahead to lift my car, remove leftover pieces, and advise me that a replacement cover is not necessary. And after 10-15 minutes, they didn't even charge me!”
